The Importance of Getting the Right Electrician

For any business owner or building owner, not having the right electrician can be very costly.  In the middle of September, we got a call from an office space owner who wanted to remodel a building to house his sister and brother-in-law’s new vet clinic. However, because he’s from out of town and couldn’t monitor progress on the remodel, four general contractors took advantage of him.  Costing his family $11,000-$12,000 every day, the clinic remained closed!

After going on Google and checking out the reviews on multiple companies, he decided to call us. He hired us to pull permits, gave our electricians free rein to fix anything wrong, and we began working the next day. As it turns out, not only was the work done by the previous contractors not correct, but the building hadn’t been kept up to date over the years either. Our electricians were able to fix everything and brought all the electrical stuff up to code in two weeks!

While it’s tempting to hire cheap contractors to save money, it’s rarely in anyone’s best interest to do so since they often end up costing you more money.  It is also essential to keep all your electrical systems up to date and have them checked after long term tenets vacate the space or if the space has been vacant for some time.  Out-of-date wirings and faulty electrical panels can result in the complete loss of your business or home. Hiring a cheap contractor may sound like a great idea at first, but could end up costing you a lot more, not only a monetary loss but also your relationship with your tenets.
